Atlanta, Georgia -- In celebration of this year’s World Environment Day on June 5, the United Nations (U.N.) is sharing  “ONE Life,” a new song and music video highlighting the severity of climate change as a musical anthem to unite those concerned about the environment.

The video, launching on June 5, will be available via the {insert page} YouTube page and shared by the United Nations exclusively through social media in order to reach people around the world.

After hearing the song, the United Nations wanted to include it with their World Environment Day outreach efforts.

“It’s one thing to talk about climate change and the environment, dedicate a day to it and quite another to unite people through an emotionally-driven musical quest. At Interface, we are climate optimists and sustainability enthusiasts. We believe global warming can be reversed but it will require all of us to take actions, big and small. In this cinematic celebration of nature that we call ‘ONE Life,’ we propose that, together, we can Lead Industry to Love the World,” said Interface’s president and CEO Jay Gould.

Interface’s mission is  “Climate Take Back,” and they live their purpose of “Leading Industry to Love the World.”  They lead the world in reducing greenhouse gas emissions of manufacturing by 96% and reduced the carbon footprint of their products by over 60%—the lowest in the industry.

To bring this creative endeavor to life it required the collective work and inspiration of 150 writers, producers, choreographers, filmmakers, musicians, singers and multiple creatives -- including the vocal talents of the “Queen of Funk” and legendary 10-time Grammy award winner Chaka Khan, last season’s winner of “The Voice,” 16 year-old Chevel Shepherd and Meghan Linsey, who claimed the number two spot on “The Voice.” The musical film features an original song written by Siege Monstrosity, with Ashley Toman who is also a featured vocalist and includes choreography, as well as creative vision from Otis Salid.

The production company behind the video, Brand New World Studios was selected for the job because it aligns with their own professional mission - to embody and support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals in all that they do. “ONE Life,” in particular, focuses on goal #13 -- climate action -- and they hope it will help our planet for years to come.
